Incontinence sheets (waterproof) – sizes, materials and the right fit

When looking for a waterproof incontinence sheet, it is not only important that the mattress stays dry. The right size, a fit suited to the mattress height and a comfortable surface material also determine whether the protection works every night. Finnmart.eu is a Finnish online store where you can find incontinence sheets and waterproof sheets for children's mattresses, large double beds and split models for adjustable beds.

Finnmart.eu helps Finnish households choose safe, everyday-easing bed protection without guesswork. Product pages clearly provide sizes, materials and washing information, and if you are still considering suitability, customer service also responds quickly via WhatsApp.

Finnmart.eu incontinence sheets for home use, bedwetting and continuous mattress protection

Finnmart.eu offers incontinence sheets for situations where you want to protect the mattress from urine leakage, bedwetting, perspiration or other moisture without bedding that feels like plastic. In practice, this means waterproof sheets that fit snugly around the mattress and feel closer to a regular sheet than rigid protective plastic.

If protection is used every night, comfort quickly becomes important. This is why the Finnmart.eu range focuses on cotton-surface and breathable-described options, with the waterproof layer made using a TPU backing rather than a traditional noisy PVC construction.

The same protection does not suit everyone. Children's beds, single beds, 160 x 200 cm double beds and adjustable beds require different models, and this is exactly where Finnmart.eu makes shopping easier: there are many size options, and product descriptions also specify limitations related to mattress height.

Incontinence sheet sizes and the right fit for different beds

The right size saves hassle from the very first night. A sheet that is too small lifts at the corners and leaves part of the mattress unprotected. One that is too large, on the other hand, remains loose, creases and may move beneath the sleeper.

The Finnmart.eu size range covers the most common Finnish mattress sizes as well as longer 220 cm models. Many fitted waterproof sheets also state the maximum suitable mattress height, for example up to 40 cm, which is important information especially for combinations of a box-spring mattress and mattress topper.

If you use an adjustable bed, a regular one-piece sheet is not always the best solution. Finnmart.eu split models are intended for beds where movement at the head ends requires more flexibility, so the protection does not become taut or come loose during use.

A cotton surface and TPU backing make a waterproof sheet more comfortable

Waterproofing alone is not enough if the sheet feels stuffy or rustles. The construction used in Finnmart.eu incontinence sheets emphasises surface comfort: for example, in a waterproof fitted sheet, the top side is 100 % jersey stretch cotton and the underside is 100 % TPU material.

This combination is practical because cotton feels soft and familiar against the skin, while TPU provides protection against moisture. For home use, this is generally a more comfortable solution than a stiffer PVC or vinyl backing, which may feel noisier and less breathable.

In Finnmart.eu product descriptions, some models are marked as anti-allergenic, dust mite resistant and OEKO-TEX certified. If skin is sensitive or protection is used continuously, this information makes choosing easier because material safety and surface feel quickly become apparent in everyday use.

How to choose a suitable incontinence sheet without unnecessary purchasing mistakes

In most cases, the right choice can be found by checking a few details before ordering. In the Finnmart.eu range, the differences arise primarily from size, mattress height, material and whether the bed is standard or adjustable.

Check these four things before buying:

• Mattress width and length: choose the nominal size exactly according to the mattress, for example 90 x 200 or 160 x 200.
• Mattress height: the fitted protector must wrap properly around the mattress. If you use a mattress topper, also take its thickness into account.
• Bed type: for an adjustable bed, choose a split model so that adjustability is retained.
• Usage situation: for occasional needs, a sheet that protects the whole mattress is often sufficient, but for recurring or heavier leakage, layering is advisable: in addition to a waterproof protector, use a separate bed protector in the central area.

Finnmart.eu can also help if you are unsure about the material. If you value the feel of a regular sheet, a cotton-surface protector is generally the safest choice. If quick drying and easy care are most important, a microfibre or more synthetic option may be more practical.

Washing, care and service life in everyday use

A good incontinence sheet works only if it is easy to use and wash. Finnmart.eu product pages provide washing instructions for each product, and some models state a washing temperature of up to 95 °C.

An important practical point is that not all waterproof sheets should be treated in the same way. Washing at too high a temperature or intensive drying can weaken the waterproof membrane, so Finnmart.eu product-specific instructions help keep the protector in good condition for longer.

If use is continuous, we recommend ordering at least two protectors. This way, one is in use while the other is being washed, and bed protection is not interrupted during a busy everyday routine.

Why ordering an incontinence sheet from Finnmart.eu is a safe choice

When shopping online, the most common concern is whether the size will fit and how the material will feel in use. Finnmart.eu reduces this risk with clear size information, material descriptions and a 14-day EU right of withdrawal.

You do not need to assess the price based on first impressions alone. Finnmart.eu offers competitive prices and a price guarantee for many products, so you can get a protective sheet without having to compromise on essential features such as waterproofing, a cotton surface or a suitable size.

With delivery, certainty is most important. Finnmart.eu uses insured deliveries with reliable carriers, providing peace of mind especially when you need the product quickly for use at home, at a holiday home or to make everyday life easier for a loved one.

When is Finnmart.eu the right place to buy an incontinence sheet?

Finnmart.eu is a good choice when you want more than just a waterproof layer. In one place, you get an incontinence sheet that fits your mattress, feels comfortable in use and comes with clear care instructions.

The range is particularly well suited when you are looking for:

• protection for a children's bed, single bed or double bed
• a split sheet for an adjustable bed
• a cotton-surface and breathable option for continuous use
• OEKO-TEX certified textiles suitable for sensitive skin
• an online store where you can also get help quickly via WhatsApp

If your situation requires more protection than usual, Finnmart.eu products can also be used in layers. In practice, this means a waterproof base protector on the mattress and, if necessary, a separate replaceable bed protector in the central area, helping keep both the mattress and everyday life more manageable.

When you want the bed to stay dry while still feeling normal, start by measuring the width, length and height of your mattress. Then choose the right incontinence sheet from Finnmart.eu or ask customer service for a recommendation, and you will find a protector that works on your own bed, not just on paper.
