Cancellation and return policy

Effective 11 September 2026. This policy applies to consumer purchases made on Finnmart.eu and supplements your mandatory rights under applicable consumer law.

Your 14-day right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason within 14 days. For goods, the withdrawal period normally begins on the day after you, or a person designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods. If one order is delivered in several parts, the period begins after receipt of the last part.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, send us an unambiguous statement before the 14-day period expires. You may email asiakaspalvelu@vuodevaatteet.fi or use the return form on Finnmart.eu. Include your name, order number, contact details and the products you wish to return. You may use the statutory model withdrawal form, but this is not required.

After notifying us, send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date of your notification. Contact customer service before shipping so that we can provide the correct return address and instructions. Do not send returns to the registered office unless customer service specifically instructs you to do so.

Condition of returned goods

You may handle and inspect a product only as you could in a physical shop. Please return it carefully packed, with all parts, accessories, labels and original packaging where reasonably possible. You are responsible only for any diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.

Return shipping costs outside Finland

For returns from countries other than Finland, you pay the direct cost of returning the goods and arrange the return shipment yourself. Use a trackable service, keep the receipt and proof of shipment, and package the goods securely. Finnmart does not reimburse these direct return shipping costs for an ordinary withdrawal.

If an item cannot normally be returned by post, contact us before returning it. We will provide available return instructions and, where possible, an estimate of the direct return cost.

Refunds

We will refund payments received for the returned goods and the cost of the least expensive standard outbound delivery offered for the order. We do not have to refund any additional amount caused by choosing a more expensive delivery method.

The refund will be made to the original payment method without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or you provide reliable evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first. Permitted deductions for diminished value may be made.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply where a statutory exception applies, including goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, and sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken. This exception is not applied merely because a product is a cosmetic or personal-care product; it applies only when the legal conditions are met.

Damaged, defective or incorrect goods

The customer-paid return rule above does not apply to a justified complaint about damaged, defective or incorrectly supplied goods. Contact us as soon as reasonably possible and before arranging a return. We will provide instructions and bear the necessary return cost where required by law. Your statutory rights regarding non-conforming goods are not limited by this policy.

Uncollected and refused parcels

Not collecting or refusing a parcel does not by itself constitute a valid withdrawal notice. Please notify us separately. Where permitted by law, actual costs caused by an uncollected or refused parcel may be deducted from the refund.
